There’s plenty of poker to get your teeth into in August with glamorous destinations all over the globe, as well as lots of tournaments in the UK.

 

In the UK: Goliath + more!

Europe’s biggest tourney - Grosvenor Casinos’ massive £250,000 guarantee Goliath event is taking place at the Ricoh Arena starting Thursday (July 27) and we have two fantastic special offers for both weekends of the event.

Unibet UK Poker Tour

The Unibet UK Poker Tour is back in August with a great event at Alea Casino in Nottingham from August 25-27. We are the tour’s Official Travel partner and have dozens of great hotel options for Nottingham and all other stops on the tour. There are five Unibet UK Poker Tour stops this year with each boasting a £220 buy-in, £40,000 guarantee Main Event. Players get a 25,000 starting stack and it’s 40 minute blind levels with one re-entry per starting day up to a maximum of £880. WPTDeepstacks Vilamoura

Unibet Deepstack Open is hosting a fantastic event in Gujan Mestras from August 24-27. The yearly rendezvous, just one hour away from Bordeaux in the amazing area of Bassin d’Arcachon, offers players fantastic food and a beautiful location in the “oyster capital” of France. WSOP International

For the first time in World Series of Poker history, the WSOP Circuit will be heading to Argentina with 888poker as official WSOPC sponsors for the second year running. PokerStars is popping up all over the place next month: PokerStars Festival Manila runs through to August 7 at the stunning City of Dreams in the Philippines while the PokerStars Festival Bucharest Main Event comes with a €500,000 guarantee and starts August 2. Further PokerStars Festivals this year include PokerStars Festival Uruguay September 16-23 and PokerStars Festival Dublin at the end of September.

 

Two of the most popular former European Poker Tour stops are still on the PokerStars schedule with PokerStars Championship Barcelona starting August 16 (and Prague in its normal December slot). PokerStars Championship Barcelona features a whopping 51 events and there’s a giant €7 million guarantee on the €5,300 Main Event (August 21-27).
