Finland's Max Avela (pictured above) finished on top of the 21 survivors on Day 1b of Event #1: €555 No-Limit Hold'em after transforming his 30,000 opening stack into 184,000 with Martin Lategui (133,350), Eriks Krumins (125,000), Georgios Skarparis (107,000), and Aleksandr Gamonovits (105,000) also finishing advancing with six-figure chip stacks.
Day 1b attracted 48 runners to bring the field up to 101 entries with 49 players thus far finding a bag. Players will have two more opening flights on Friday with late registration still open for the first two levels of Saturday when our live reporting officially begins.
