The first of two opening days are in the books for Event #5: €660 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty. The event attracted 164 entries to create a €94,464 prize pool.

Just 15 percent of the field was scheduled to make it through into Day 2 near the money with just 25 players remaining and the top 20 players earning at least a min-cash of €650. This is just the minimum they will be playing for as tomorrow one player is slated to go home with a €10,000 top prize.

The main reason players find this exciting is usually the mystery bounty prizes on tap for Day 2. One lucky player will win the top €10,000 mystery bounty tomorrow if the right envelope is pulled after an elimination.

Of course, with €10,000 to the winner along with the coveted WSOPC ring and the invitation to the $1 million Tournament of Champions freerolls held as a bracelet event at the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas.

Lithuania's Vilius Zabrauskas is in the best position to collect mystery bounties as he will have the entire tournament covered from the start of Day 2 when the action kicks off at noon with 501,000. Nobody else is super close with Jarkko Suosas turning his 30,000 opening stack into 359,000.

Meanwhile, WSOP bracelet winner Ranno Sootla is in a good spot to add a ring to his collection despite spending most of his time these days playing cash games thanks to concluding the opening day with a third-place stack of 345,000.
