Thanks to the Irish Poker Open, Dublin has been a magnet for players from all over the globe for more than 40 years. American poker legends such as Doyle Brunson, Amarillo Slim and Stu Ungar have all competed in Dublin and, more recently, Steve O’Dwyer settled in the city – and then went on to win the Irish Open in 2022.
Events in 2024 include the Dublin Poker Festival from February 29 to March 10, the Irish Poker Tour’s St Patrick's Weekend Festival from March 15-17, the Irish Poker Open at the Royal Dublin Society from March 25 to April 1, the Irish Poker Tour’s The Monster in May and the International Poker Open in October.
