The popular European Poker Tour Prague event kicks off next month with PokerStars’ annual blockbuster running December 7-17.

A trip to Prague has been a mainstay of PokerStars live events since the EPT’s first visit in 2007. Previous champions have included Arnaud Mattern, Roberto Romanello, Martin Finger, Ramzi Jelassi and current WSOP Main Event Champion Hossein Ensan.
This year’s EPT Prague features nearly 50 tournaments including the €1,100 buy-in EPT National, €50,000 Super High Roller, €10,300 High Roller, €10,300 Short Deck tourney and the flagship €5,300 €EPT Main Event.
In addition to all the high-octane action at the poker tables, there will also be a ton of StarsFun activities as well as the eagerly-awaited Players’ Party at the Hilton Prague and coveted PokerStars Christmas merch for all players.
Prague is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities and December is the perfect time to visit. The Old Town Square is an idyllic winter setting, aglow with the lights of the giant Christmas tree and festive market stalls.
At the last EPT Prague in 2018, German player Paul Michaelis emerged victorious in the Main Event, outlasting a field of 1,174 players to take home €840,000. Michaelis was also awarded a Platinum Pass. The EPT Prague 2018 Main Event drew the second-biggest attendance in the tournament's history, with 175 players getting a share of the €5,693,900 prize pool.
