Excitement is building for the EPT’s return to the amazing Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi. The festival runs March 20-29 – with the flagship Main Event starting on March 24.

Highlights of EPT Sochi this year include the RUB 66,000 buy-in EPT National which offers unlimited re-entries and runs March 21-24. The EPT Sochi Main Event, which has a RUB 150,000,000 guarantee, allows a single entry per starting day and runs March 24-29. Also on the schedule are a PLO tourney, Bounty Single Re-entry, High Roller, Deepstack and EPT Cup.
As well as a ton of poker, numerous other fun events are planned during the festival. A Bowling Competition – with free soft drinks and snacks – is taking place on March 26 and there’s also the chance to take part in a 'Doctor Frankenstein' Escape Room. That’s not to mention the huge range of winter sports available including night skiing and snowboarding – equipment is available to hire if you don’t have your own!All Main Event players will get free players’ merchandise and the chance to meet Team PokerStars Pros.
Sochi is a terrific location, combining the thrill of high-octane poker with amazing fun on the slopes. Casino Sochi was designed to mirror the style of Las Vegas properties and includes 569 state-of-the-art slot terminals, 70 gaming tables including American Roulette, Blackjack, Russian Poker, Casino Texas Hold’em, Baccarat and a separate Poker Room. The total capacity of the venue is up to 2,000 people.
Outside of the casino, there are great outdoor activities just minutes away from Sochi to enjoy including 30km of ski slopes, Sochi Sky Park with a 200m bungee jump and the iconic Olympic Park. Last year Russian player Arsenii Karmatckii took down the Main Event after beating a 861-entry field, winning close to $500,000.
