Last season's GUKPT Final winner was Ben Winsor who beat a 321-strong field to cash for £178,600. The victory kicked off a sensational 12 months for the British pro who has now clocked up some $300,000 in live tournament winnings since then, including taking down the WPT 500 event in Nottingham last month for his biggest ever live cash of £182,700. His total live tourney winnings now total close to $1 million.
British pro Tom Middleton won the last GUKPT leg after a three-way chop in Blackpool with Tom Hall and Richard Kellett, awarding him the title and £56,255 payday. There were 251 entries creating a prize pool of €251,000. The biggest winner of the year however was Martin Hogarty who outlasted 394 opponents in London to snag a £66,538 first place prize.
