The last WSOP International Circuit event of 2016 is about to kick off at gorgeous Punta del Este in Uruguay. The event is being hosted at the Conrad Resort & Casino from Friday, December 2 to Sunday, December 11 with 29 different tournaments on the schedule.
As well as the $1,500 Main Event which starts on Saturday (December 3), players also have numerous other events on offer including a $400 NL Turbo, $800 Double Stack, $300 PLO, $800 freezeout, $200 Women’s Championship, the $2,500 “No-Limit Hold'em Torneo Gran Millonaria” and $5,000 High Roller.
Across the road from the beach and overlooking the ocean, the luxury Conrad Hotel is a fabulous beachfront resort perfectly located in Playa Mansa, within walking distance of the vibrant downtown and just 3 km from art exhibits at the Museo Ralli.
Like the domestic circuit, the International track will feature two qualifiers per stop for the WSOP Global Casino Championship. A Main Event winner and the Casino Champion will each win automatic entry into the season-culminating event, in addition to the gold WSOP Circuit ring and prize money from that event. The International and Domestic tours collide in the season-culminating Global Casino Championship in the summer of 2017.
