Two players shared the unfortune to lose their all-in at the same time which means we are now down to 71 players. The updates regarding Main Event ends for today and Jason will be back tomorrow.
Mauri Kristjan Dorbek says he knows he had been drinking to much wine today. Declares he can´t play sober, because he then is to intense.
LOL!
Still more than 50 minutes left of todays last level. 75 players still in. If we go down to pay-outs before this level ends, then day 2 ends, but if there is still more than 71 players left when this level is over, the game will continue.
Kasparas Klezys just lost a huge pot with KK. He races to 10k and Juho H. S. Heiska reraces to 25k, Kasparas races to 60k and Juho goes all-in, gets an insta call and shows AA. No helping cards for Kasparas with 125k left. Juho has around 520k.
Henri Pietari Wagner and Teemu Aukusti Toikkanen goes all-in heads up. Henri shows AdAh. Then what? Teemu shows AcAs. No flush possible on the flop, split pot.
When four more players are out, the pay-outs starts.
Jari A. J. Saviaho races to 8k utg. Cut off+1 calls, so do the button and BB. Flop shows 8 6 2, rainbow. Jari bets 4k, Hein races to 10k, button and bb folds, Jari calls.
Turn is Kh which makes a flush draw. Jari bets 40k and Hein goes all-in for 160k approx. Jari thinks for a while, says "did you hit the set", gets no answer and folds.
After the break they changed players at the TV-table. It is the table with highest average ; 221.500. There is one player really short he has 70k with the blinds 2000/4000 BBA 4000. If there is a chip then there is a chair.
Biggest stack on the table has Yanis Mehdi Sahli from France with 400k.
With 84 players left the average stack is 201.429. There are like five players really short stacked with stacks between 30 and 70k. A number of players have around 100k and are as well in the zone of danger since 13 more players must be eliminated before reaching the prize money.
In my opinion there is no difference in male and female players opportunities of winning. So few women play poker on a high level, moneywise. Still three ladies in, but I compare with Sweden were it almost always are at least 15% female players, and often two or more at the finale table. Is the reason the height of the buy-in? This I have been asking myself since I started playing poker 30 years ago. Will I ever get an answer?
There is one short stack at the TV-table and that is Kalle Elmeri Parkkinen with 70k. He still has 23 BB.
7 players have between 140k and 180 k. Chip leader at the table is Keito Kaljulaid.
We are now down to less than 100 players, to be exact 94 for the moment.
The only spot in the room where you can here a laughter is in the media area. That is because 35 more players have to be eliminated before the rest is in the money.
We have a new chip leader with 530k; Juan Carlos Vecino Duenas.

During this two ours session since last break almost 60 players have left the Main Event. Dreams and hopes down the drain, but there is always a tomorrow, always new games to play and a lot of open tables.
Siim who has BB versus Paul Koppe on the Button. I didn´t see the hand from start, but it is around 100k in the pot with the flop K T 7 rainbow. Slim bets 12.5k and Paul reraise to 25k. Slim calls. Turn Q makes a possible straight and a flush draw, both checks. River shows a 3, no flush.
Slim thinks for a while and bets 55k. Paul quite quick says all-in for 110k, leaving Slim thinking for a long time. Paul makes a joke, putting on his hoodie saying - No tells from me, next time I will bring my sunglasses as well.
Finally Slim calls and Paul says you win, showing A high.
Slim shows TT and Paul is out.
Is maybe TT the hand of the day?

This is my first Live Report for more than ten years. Please don´t expect miracles, but hopefully you at least find the information expected.
The first break for today is just over and it is the normal razzle and dazzle of chips in the room. The sound that make us love poker so much. Or maybe it is annoying for you?
184/564 players still in the game. Approx. 55 have starting stack (30000) or less.
Chip leader with 264.500 is Vlad Dolgevics and all together have ten players more than 200k.
Tapio Ilmari Aaltonen is Chip Leader with approx. 450k. He raised pre flop UTG+1 and BB reraises. Flop comes A T 7 rainbow. BB bets and Tapio calls after thinking for a while. Turn shows J and gives an flush draw. BB is all-in and Tapio calls quick as a King Cobra. BB shows AK
and Tapio has TT. Over and out for Kevin Victor Karenius.
Level 11: 1,000/1,500 (1,500)
Entries: 196/564
The action has resumed from the break which means late registration has closed. The record-breaking Kings of Tallinn Summer Showdown €1,100 Main Event attracted 564 entries for a €530,160 prize pool. Full payouts will be announced in the near future.
Best of luck to the 196 remaining players in their hunt for Kings of Tallinn Summer Showdown glory.
Gia Carnestrom will be handling the reporting for the day while your usual reporter Jason Glatzer will commentate both the second half of Day 2 of the Main Event before hopping into the High Roller.
Players are playing their final few hands before heading on a 15-minute break. We will know the total number of entrants and the prize pool after the action resumes. The prize pool has already soared past €500,000! Amazing, especially considering there was no guarantee.
Gia Carnestrom will be handling the blog for Day 2 with Jason Glatzer moving over to the commentating booth to announce the second half of the Main Event and the €5,000 High Roller shortly after before coming back to report Day 3 and Day 4 of the Main Event.
Level 10: 700/1,400 (1,400)
Entries: 199/528
More players and re-entries continue to file in and the prize pool is now inches away from €500,000. This was the guarantee during the winter-edition of the Kings of Tallinn and it appears this figure will be smashed even without a guarantee.
Level 9: 600/1,200 (1,200)
Entries: 221/490
Cards are in the air to start Day 2 of the Main Event. The field will continue to grow and grow but already 25 new players got into the mix before the start of the day.

Welcome to Day 2 of the 2023 Kings of Tallinn Summer Showdown €1,100 Main Event at Olympic Park Casino and the Hilton Tallinn Park.
The three opening flights attracted 465 entries with 196 players finding a bag. They will be joined by others with late registration open for the first two blind levels of the second day. After late registration, we will know the prize pool which currently stands at more than €437,000 and shortly after that the full payouts of the Main Event.
Day 1b chip leader Vlads Dolgilevics (pictured below) leads the way to start the day after advancing with 264,500. He is closely followed by Day 1c chip leader Phil Gross (261,500), Guillermo Cifuentes (253,000), Day 1a chip leader Feras Abid (221,000), and Kalle Parkkinen (218,100)
The plan for the day is to play eight more blind levels of one hour each. Your usual reporter Jason Glatzer will put down the pen and pick up the microphone as today is also the day of the inaugural Kings of Tallinn Summer Showdown €5,000 High Roller. However, the amazing Gia Carnestrom will take over with reporting starting after the first break when late registration is closed. Glatzer will be back on the floor for Day 3 and Day 4 of the Main Event until a winner is crowned.
Cards are scheduled to be in the air at noon with blinds at 600/1,200 along with a 1,200 big blind ante. Best of luck to all of the Main Event players!
