Among those competing at GUKPT Luton will be Grosvenor Ambassador Joe Beevers and Jeff Kimber, who are playing a whole bunch of events, along with fellow Ambassador Katie Swift who is playing both the £200,000 guarantee Main Event and the £20,000 Mini Main.
The GUKPT is the longest running poker tour in the UK, welcoming poker enthusiasts from all across the country for a packed week of fun poker action. GUKPT Luton is the penultimate leg of the 2017 tour with Leg 9 – GUKPT Blackpool – taking place next month from November 5-12. The GUKPT Grand Final London starts November 19 at the Poker Room above the iconic Grosvenor Victoria Casino in Edgware Road.
Leeds player Leung Cheung won the last GUKPT, a record-breaking event in Leeds which attracted 308 entries making it the biggest £500 GUKPT event outside of London. The prize pool totaled £154,000 with Cheung scooping £37,900 for his win. GUKPT Passport winner Andy Hills was ninth for £2,950 while Grosvenor Ambassador Will Kassouf was 10th for £2,450 and fellow Ambassador Jeff Kimber was 21st for £1,250.
