The popular Unibet UK Poker Tour is launching its 2018 season in the fab seaside resort of Brighton in less than two weeks.
MainEventTravel is the tour’s Official Travel partner and has dozens of great hotel options in Brighton so why not make a weekend of it in this fantastic seaside city.
The event is being held at the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton’s buzzing marina from March 23-25 – and the tour will be back in the city again in September. Brighton is a fab place to visit, with tons of bars, restaurants, clubs, amazing shopping and a selection of great hotels right by the sea. Main Event Travel is proud to the tour’s Official Travel Partner.
There are four Unibet UK Poker Tour stops scheduled this year with each boasting a £220 buy-in, £40,000 guarantee Main Event. Players get a 50,000 starting stack with one re-entry per starting day up to a maximum of £880. Players also have the option of competing both Day 1a and 1b and taking your biggest stack through to the Final Day.
Unibet Player of the Year
As well as the cash prize, each Unibet UK Poker Tour champion will get a custom trophy and a package worth €2,000 for a Unibet Open event. A €2k Unibet Open package will also go the online qualifier who lasts longest in each event. All players who compete in the Main Event will also rack up points in the Unibet Player of the Year live event leaderboard.
The contest was launched during Unibet Open London and will involve players from both live and online events throughout 2018. Huge prizes are on offer including €2,000 Unibet Open packages as well as tournament tickets and cash prizes.
A spectacular Battle of the Champion’s play-off will take place early next year to determine the overall Unibet Player of the Year. Live players will also be able to rack up points by entering any Unibet Open Main Event as well as the Unibet Romanian Poker Series and Unibet Belgian Poker Championship. As well as points for taking part, there will be additional points for everyone who cashes and further points based on performance.
After Brighton, the tour is heading to Glasgow (June 29-July 1), Brighton again in September and Manchester December 7-9.
