The GUKPT heads off to Blackpool next month for one of the most popular events of the year. For many GUKPT fans, GUKPT Blackpool is their favourite event – it’s party time in a party town!

Blackpool is the final leg of the 2017 tour before the GUKPT Grand Final later London in the month. Grosvenor Ambassador Joe Beevers plans to be in Blackpool for a full week. He said: “I wouldn’t miss it for anything! Best festival of the year!” GUKPT Passport winner Andy Hills will also be heading back to the city after a fantastic runner-up finish there during the Grosvenor Casino 25/25 Series in September.
GUKPT Blackpool features a £200k guarantee Main Event plus a bunch of side events including the £20,000 guarantee Mini Main.
The last GUKPT Blackpool Main Event was won by British pro Tom Middleton for £56,255 after a three-way chop with Tom Hall and Richard Kellett. There were 251 entries last year, generating a total prize pool of €251,000.
The GUKPT has visited Blackpool every single year of the tour and awarding more than £2.5 million in prize money for the Main Event. As well as Tom Middleton, previous winners have included Jonny Gray (2015, £69,050), Richard Trigg (2013, £53,000), Simon Deadman (2012, £49,200) and Priyan de Mel in 2009.
The GUKPT is celebrating its 11th season this year and looking forward to a cracking GUKPT Grand Final taking place November 19-26 at the Poker Room above the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London’s Edgware Road.
