The winner will receive the MET Goliath Ladies Event Giveaway Package valued at £430 includes:

  • 2 Ladies Event Tickets valued at £115 each
  • A Twin Room valued at £200
    • 1 night at DoubleTree by Hilton onsite 26 July
    • OR
    • 2 nights at an offsite hotel 25/26 or 26/27 July

 

The Ladies Event entry is valid for Day 1 on Friday 26th July at 6pm.

Eligibility

This giveaway is open to applicants aged 18 years and over.

Employees, contractors, ambassadors, and family members of employees of MainEventTravel.com and Grosvenor Casinos are not eligible to apply; entries and wins found to be as such will be declared null and void.

By entering the giveaway, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of Grosvenor Casinos, including any age and restrictions applicable to their services.

To be eligible for the giveaway, the winner must create an account with MainEventTravel.com and Grosvenor Casinos. Failure to create an account will result in forfeiture of the prize.

Upon attending Grosvenor Casinos, the winner is required to present valid identification (ID) for verification purposes. Failure to provide valid ID may result in forfeiture of the prize or refusal of entry to the venue.

The 2 Ladies Goliath Events tickets and the Hotel room are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative.

Prizes will be awarded in the name of the player who shares and the named player who is tagged.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

Entry Method

Participants must do the following for an eligible entry:

  2. Join Katie Swift’s Poker for Women Facebook Group
  3. Head to the Official Giveaway Post in Katie’s Group
  4. Tag a Poker Travel Gal Pal and Comment ‘Shared’ below Group Giveaway Post

 Your entry is valid when your mate's tag is highlighted AND any of the ‘Get Me to Goliath’ Ladies Event Promo Posts on from one of MainEventTravel.com’s agreed social media platform is shared on your Social Media page (Facebook or X).

PLEASE NOTE Katie’s FB Group is private and inclusive to female players and posts cannot be shared from her group.

One entry can be made per person. You can be tagged in multiple entries.

MET reserves the right to remove an entry from the draw if the post is not on the entrant's social media page at the time of validation and cannot be held responsible for posts that are removed after validation.

Entries that are incomplete, or submitted outside of the specified timeframe will not be accepted.

Any entries deemed to be inappropriate, offensive, or slanderous may be disqualified at managements discretion.

By entering the giveaway, participants agree to abide by these and reasonable terms and conditions and instructions provided by MainEventTravel.com.

Changes & Disruptions

MainEventTravel.com reserves the right to modify the giveaway period at its discretion, in which case the revisions will be communicated via Facebook and X.

Any changes to the giveaway period will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions, and all eligible entries received before any modification may still be considered valid.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond MainEventTravel.com's control, including but not limited to technical issues, force majeure events, or disruptions imposed by a third-party, MainEventTravel.com may, at its discretion:

  1. Modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway without prior notice.
  2. Disqualify any entries or participants who violate these terms and conditions or engage in fraudulent or unfair practices.
  3. Determine alternative methods for prize allocation or distribution, if applicable.

Giveaway Period

The entry period will end Monday 17th June at Midnight. Entries received after the end date will not be considered.

All times and dates are subject to MainEventTravel.com’s local time zone (BST/GMT)

Prize Winner

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The draw will take place on Facebook Live at 18:00 BST on Wednesday 19th June. The winner will be notified via Facebook by direct message.

The winner must acknowledge receipt of the notification and accept the prize within 48 hours. If there is no acknowledgment or acceptance within this timeframe, the prize may be deemed invalid, and the promotion made null and void.

The winner agrees to wear a MainEventTravel.com patch prominently during any official events or activities associated with the prize and will be photographed with such.

Hotel stay must be confirmed within 48 hours of prize acceptance.

Publicity

By entering, participants agree to participate in any publicity which can include images, news features, social media posts and promotional activities related to the giveaway.

Content provided may be used for promotional purposes.

Liability

MainEventTravel.com and Event Organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or other resulting from participation in the giveaway or acceptance of the prize.

Participants indemnify MainEventTravel.com and Event Organisers against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of their breach of terms.

MainEventTravel.com and Event Organisers shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions where such failure results from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, or governmental restrictions.
