GRAND PRIX POKER TOUR HEADS BACK TO DUSK TILL DAWN IN NOTTINGHAM
Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) and partypoker launched the Grand Prix Poker Tour in October last year with the aim of giving grassroots poker players the chance to play for large cash prizes for only a small investment. The stunning Nottingham club, widely considered one of the best poker-playing environments in the UK, was the venue for that inaugural GPPT event so it’s only fitting that the club is hosting the GPPT final there – a £250,000 guarantee event running October 10-16.
One of the GPPT’s key innovations is that there are a variety of ways to compete on Day 1 – either at Dusk Till Dawn itself, or at partner casinos all over the country, or online at partypoker.
The Day 1 buy-in is $109 to enter (via party) or cash on site for £75 + £10 however you can avoid the first day altogether if you’re happy to stump up €550 for a Day 2 entry (for which you’ll received 200,000 chips, 100 big blinds).
With 45 custom-built tables in its main cardroom, Dusk Till Dawn is the largest and only poker-dedicated venue in the country in the UK and well worth a visit!!! Although the Grand Prix Poker Tour mainly attracts UK players, this particular stop could pull in a varied field. Dusk Till Dawn is hosting the World Poker Tour UK festival from October 24 and it’s likely there will be a large number of North American and European players who fancy playing both events. Don’t forget, you can check out accommodation options for all Dusk Till Dawn events right here on MainEventTravel.com.
