Next month’s rich pickings include PokerStars’ Summer Festival Malta, an Estrellas Poker Tour stop in Castellon, the Irish Poker Tour’s Summer In Dublin Festival, the EA Poker Tour in Milan, the Unibet Deepstack Open in Sanremo, PokerStars’ FPS Paris and the Partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Bratislava Poker Festival.

Further afield, PokerStars’ Brazilian Series of Poker is featuring a stop in Sao Paulo towards the end of July and the APT is heading to Da Nang in Vietnam. A pretty exciting month of poker wraps up with the celebrated Kings of Tallinn event at Olympic Park Casino.
If you’re still hankering for a little bit of WSOP flavour in your summer poker schedule, then there’s an event just for you in the UK with the WSOP Super Circuit London festival. The 18-day extravaganza, which kicks off on July 27, is being hosted at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, right next to Hyde Park. The second half of the 15-event schedule looks particularly lush with a £1 million guaranteed WSOP Circuit Main Event and the £3 million guaranteed WSOP Super Circuit Main Event.
What’s great about next month’s events is that nearly all of them are taking place in fabulous tourist hotspots so you can fit in a bit of city culture or beach fun with your busy poker schedule.
PokerStars Summer Festival Malta - June 27 to July 2
PokerStars Summer Festival Malta, first held last year, is taking place at the Intercontinental Arena in St Julian’s. The festival promises six days of epic poker combined with sun, fun, and unforgettable experiences. As well as the €1,100 Main Event, the schedule includes a €2,200 High Roller and the new €550 PokerStars’ NLHE two-day Live on Stars tournament which will run from June 30 to July 1. The festival also promises a ton of off-the-felt activities as well; last year players were treated to adventures such as a catamaran trip, jet-skiing and Beerpong tournament along with the Players’ Party and optional excursions to Game of Thrones location Mdina and a day trip to Gozo.
Estrellas Poker Tour Castellon - June 29 – July 9
Castellon is a great destination that offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. The historic centre is dotted with charming medieval buildings, churches, and plazas and beach lovers will enjoy the fabulous golden beaches along the Costa del Azahar. Estrellas Poker Tour Castellon runs June 29 – July 9 at Gran Casino Castellon. Festival highlights include the €500 CEP Main Event, the €2,200 ESPT High Roller and the €1,100 ESPT Main Event which gets underway on July 5.
Irish Poker Tour’s Summer In Dublin Festival - June 30 - July 2
The Irish Poker Tour’s Summer In Dublin Festival features a total guaranteed prize pool of €150,000 during the three-day event at the Green Isle Hotel in Clondalkin starting June 30 Festival highlights include the €100,000 guaranteed €200 buy-in Summer in Dublin Main Event along with the €120 + €100 + €30 Paddy Power Mystery Bounty One Dayer and the €20,000 guaranteed Dublin 500 tournament. The €10,000 guaranteed Monsterstack provides players with a generous 50,000 starting stack while there are two separate events for Omaha fans – a €250 buy-in tourney on July 1 and a €150 Omaha 7-Max on the final day on July 2.
EA Poker Tour Milan – July 8-17
The EAPoker Tour is a series of festivals covering the entire Eurasian region and is proudly celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. The EAPT Milan stop runs from July 8-17 at the Imperium Room and includes a €300,000 guaranteed Main Event and €1,100 High Roller.
Milan, the vibrant capital of Italy's Lombardy region, is famous for its magnificent architecture such as the iconic Milan Cathedral (Duomo di Milano) and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a stunning 19th-century shopping arcade. Milan is also a paradise for shopaholics, with its upscale boutiques in the Quadrilatero della Moda and the trendy fashion district of Corso Como.
Sanremo is a gorgeous Italian seaside resort just along the Riviera from Nice (which is the nearest airport) and the Unibet Deepstack Open’s annual summer trip there provides the perfect excuse to visit. The festival takes place in Sanremo’s stunning Belle Epoque-era casino which has hosted a ton of major poker events including the European Poker Tour. The €300 Mini UDSO gets underway on July 11 while the first of three starting flights for the €550 UDSO Main Event starts on July 13. Other highlights include the UDSO Omaha tournament and a €1,100 High Roller.
PokerStars’ FPS Paris - July 15-23
PokerStars is heading back to Paris this summer for an incredible FPS Paris event at Stade Jean-Bouin from July 15 – 23. Well known for hosting matches against the Stade Français Paris rugby club, and located next to the famous Parc des Princes, this will be a great event in a very memorable location. The festival highlight is undoubtedly the €1,000,000 guaranteed FPS Main Event which takes place from July 18-23. Also on the schedule are the €330 FPS Cup (July 15-18) and €2,200 FPS High Roller (July 17-19). The FPS Super High Roller runs from July 21-23 and comes with a €3,300 buy-in.
partypoker LIVE Grand Prix Bratislava Poker Festival
partypoker LIVE poker returns this summer with the Grand Prix Bratislava Poker Festival, running July 18-23 at Card Casino and featuring a huge €500,000 guaranteed Main Event. Taking place in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, the festival boasts a bustling schedule with a cool €1 million worth of guaranteed prize pools up for grabs. In addition to the Main Event, other highlights include a €3,000 High Roller (July 22/23) which has a €200,000 guaranteed prize pool along with a €2,500 Omaha Championship.
DTD100 July 5-9 and UKPC Summer Series July 19-24
The DTD100 is a regular multi-day event at the Nottingham casino offering a huge £100,000 guaranteed prize pool for the (relatively) tiny buy-in of £120.
Details aren’t out yet for the UKPC Summer Series at Dusk Till Dawn but the festival promises a full schedule including the prestigious UKPC Main Event. Dominic Cullen took down the Spring Series Main Event for £21,000 while Mitch Johnson won the High Roller. The 10-day festival will feature 53 events, including the ever-popular €555 Kings of Tallinn Championship, the traditional €1,100 Main Event, and, for the first time – €5,000 One-Day High Roller Event.
