If you fancy making your Easter just a little bit more exciting this year, then Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham is planning a DTD100 and Easter Cup event next week that’s guaranteed to put a bit of spring in your step.
The DTD100 is a regular multi-day event at the Nottingham casino which offers a huge £100,000 guaranteed prize pool for the (relatively) tiny buy-in of £120. Dusk Till Dawn is combining next week’s DTD100 with an extra Easter Cup event running Sunday/Monday over the Easter Weekend.
Dusk Till Dawn often adds some juice on top of its regular DTD100 events to make them even more tempting and next week’s DTD100 is no exception. A whole bunch of seats have been added on top for May’s WPT500 event an additional prize worth an extra €560 for the top 20 finishers.

DTD100
Next week’s DTD100 kicks off on Wednesday, April 5 with all players getting a generous 100,000 starting stack. One re-entry is allowed per flight but there are plenty of chances to get involved with six starting flights in total, all zooming along with a pacey 20-minute clock.
Easter Cup
The DTD100 segues seamlessly into the flagship event next week – the DTD Easter Cup. This is a £220 buy-in NLHE tourney with two start days running over the Easter weekend. Day 1a is on Sunday, April 9 starting at 3pm (30 minute levels) with a turbo 1b starting at 8pm (20 minute levels) the same day. Both flights offer two entries in total with the final Day 2 taking place on Easter Monday, April 10.
Side events
Dusk Till Dawn is wrapping up the Easter weekend with a couple of bonus tourneys on the Bank Holiday Monday – the £120 buy-in DTD Easter Big Bounty at 2pm and the Easter Turbo at 5pm. Both those tourneys allow a single rebuy.
At the last DTD100 earlier this month, DTD regular David Benoit-Janin outlasted a 1,306-entry field to win the event for £14,255 along with one of ten WSOP-C UK Main Event seats on offer!
UK Poker Championships Spring Series
Dusk Till Dawn will be hosting the UK Poker Championships Spring Series over the early May Bank Holiday weekend – from April 26 to May 1. The festival will include a £100,000 guaranteed Main Event alongside several side events and live satellites. The £280 buy-in Main Event features four start flights starting on April 29 with the final on Monday, May 2. Also on the schedule are a £60 buy-in turbo, £560 High Roller and £120 Freezeout.
At the last UKPC in January, Karl Guiness took down the Main Event for £87,875. There were 1,148 creating a guarantee-busting prize pool of £556,780. Live sats for the Spring edition will be running at Dusk Till Dawn from April 15. Adam Neal beat a 130-entry field to take down the High Roller for £25,325 while Andrew Wilson, who came sixth in the High Roller for £7,500, went on to win the Super High Roller for an extra £40k.
WPT500
Full details will follow but Dusk Till Dawn is already pretty revved up about the WPT 500 taking place over the end-of-May bank holiday. The event will run May 26-29 with a £500,000 guaranteed prize pool for the Main Event. There will be five Day 1s running from May 26-28, including a turbo Day 1e. The final takes place on May 29. Dusk Till Dawn regulars will have plenty of chances to win their way into the £560 buy-in Main Event with five £65 live satellites on the schedule offering a total of 60 seats guaranteed. These are taking place May 20, 21, 24, and 25 and 26 so, if you’re local, get stuck in!
It's been seven years since DTD last hosted the WPT500. Simon Trumper, Live Poker Director at Dusk Till Dawn, said: “We're very excited to be hosting the WPT500 UK at the club. It is an event we expect to highly resonate with our customers, and we hope the timing of the event over a UK bank holiday gives players an even better opportunity to take part." Dusk Till Dawn hosted the first UK version of the WPT500 back in 2014. There were 2,133 entries with Eleanor Gudger winning £140,000. In 2015, Swansea player Richard Harris outlasted a 1,615-entry field to win £150,000. At the last Dusk Till Dawn edition of the WPT500 in 2016, there were 1,835 entries with British pro Ben Winsor snagging the £182,700 top prize.
Dusk Till Dawn was launched in 2007 by avid poker player Rob Yong who decided to build his own venue after he and a friend were turned away from a poker tournament for being one minute late. It was designed “specifically as a place to poker” and has stayed true to its roots ever since. The 45-table venue now hosts some of the biggest tournaments in Europe – including the UKIPT, the APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker, partypoker’s Grand Prix tournaments and the MILLIONS UK. The club also has a ton of cash game tables starting from as low as £1/£1 NLHE and PLO.
