Barely has the dust settled on GUKPT 2023 then it’s time to start planning for the first event of 2024! GUKPT London is taking place at its traditional home – the iconic Poker Room at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino – and will feature a total of 11 different live tournaments from January 4 to 14.
The £1,250 Main Event starts January 11 with other schedule highlights including the Mini Main, the new Super Mystery Bounty NLH 50/50 (with four starting flights) and Super Mystery Bounty PLO 50/50, a PLO 4/5/6 tourney, the £2k High Roller and the £550 GUKPT Cup.
2024 National Poker League
GUKPT London will be the first qualifying event in the 2024 National Poker League. Players will have dozens of opportunities next year to garner NPL points and it’s certainly a prize worth aiming for – Grosvenor has bumped up the value of the 2024 Player of the Year prize to a £75,000 sponsorship package. Players can accrue points at all GUKPTs, the UK Poker Open in February and Goliath in July, the brand new 888poker LIVE UK Poker League and all the 25/50 series.

The Landmark London – from £432/night*
If money’s no object, then you’d be nuts not to stay at the Landmark! The Landmark has been wowing guests since it first opened in 1899 and the dramatic entrance is now complemented by a vast, eight-story glass-roofed atrium replete with towering palm trees. It’s a ten-minute walk to the Vic and close to Regents Park. The guest rooms have everything you’d expect from a 5* hotel and there’s also a sumptuous spa with a steam room, sauna, swimming pool, and fully-equipped gym.
OYO Boston Court Hotel - from £81/night or £43/night/per person for 4 sharing*
Located only six minutes’ walk from the Vic – and just two minutes' walk from Marble Arch, Hyde Park, and Oxford Street – the budget-friendly OYO Boston Court is ideally situated for GUKPT London. It’s a basic but friendly, family-run hotel housed in a restored English Heritage-listed Victorian property on Upper Berkeley Street. All rooms feature satellite TV, a fridge, a hairdryer, a fan and tea- and coffee-making facilities. If you don’t mind bunking up with mates, then book now to grab one of the hotel’s available “quad” rooms. Days Inn Hyde Park - from £150/night*
Located in a quiet elegant Georgian terrace close to Paddington station, the 55-room Days Inn Hyde Park has a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi. Most London hotels don’t have onsite parking, but you can ditch your car at the Days Inn for £20/day. Located just 12 minutes from the Vic, this is a nice and comfy option for your GUKPT London stay. GUKPT 2024 season
Grosvenor has already announced the dates for all next year’s GUKPT stops – ten in total. After Leg 1 in London, the tour will be off to GUKPT Manchester in February. Following that, it’s Blackpool in March, Leeds from April 4 to 14 and Luton starting April 25, London in May, then Edinburgh in June, a second trip to Luton in September, Blackpool #2 in October, and then back to London for the Grand Final. Not to mention the return of the Grosvenor UK Poker Open event starting February 22 in Coventry. Another of Grosvenor Poker’s biggest events, Goliath takes place in July.
