GUKPT London is one of the UK’s most prestigious tournaments and one of the most exciting on the 2023 GUKPT calendar. August’s 11-day festival takes place August 17-27 and will be the tour’s second visit to the capital this year. At the first leg back in January, Jonathan McCann scored his biggest ever live cash by taking down the £1,250 buy-in Main Event for £89,122. There were 459 entries in all, generating a £504,900 prize pool with a total of 44 players finishing in the money.

The flagship £1,250 GUKPT Main Event starts on August 24, the highlight of a busy 11 days of poker that includes the £560 Midi Main, the £340 Mini Main tournament, the £550 GUKPT Cup, the £2000 High Roller, the £3000 Super High Roller, the £1000 PLO HR 4/5/6 and many other options along with numerous satellites. The Main Event features three starting flights – including a Day 1c turbo – with three entries allowed per flight. All players will receive a 20,000 starting stack with late registration open until the start of Day 2.
